Cultural funding is a shark tank. The air in it will become visibly thinner after the rescue packages expire due to the coronavirus pandemic. And even if the Capital of Culture wave brings a lot of momentum to Chemnitz by 2025, we don’t want to simply let ourselves drift along and clutch at every straw. We want to swim against the tide where it does us good and form wonderful shoals with many small fish from the independent scene.
