On Saturday, 13 December, the event continues with an Advent writing workshop from 2 pm. As part of the Young Hackers’ Day, the CCC Chemnitz invites children, young people and adults to a special analogue afternoon. Visitors can write wish lists and letters to Father Christmas or the Christ Child on classic typewriters – completely without a screen, but with mechanical charm and the familiar “clack-clack-clack”. A special station also features a typewriter that types out Advent greetings as if by magic with the help of ChatGPT. The offer is complemented by exciting insights into the history and technology of the typewriter as well as the opportunity to try out historical and modified models for yourself. Analogue cookies provide the perfect Advent atmosphere.
