Cages from Ludwigsburg play their own blend of emotional hardcore and screamo from the 90s and early 2000s. Firmly rooted in the DIY ethos, the band combines punchy drums, melodic guitars and vocals that shift between screams and shouts. Lyrically, their songs deal with trial and error, fears and mental health, as well as social commentary. Nevertheless, Cages refuse to give up, because somewhere a light still glimmers.

hyphen from Jena move between screamo and post-punk. Four minds conceive their music in fragments, letting vulnerability meet loud instruments and keeping things in motion. In the process, the rhythms drive the noise, which must choose between standing still and breaking out.
