bauSTELLE: “Yeah, I’m on stage solo too. But the show’s brilliant. You can dance or just stand there gawping. I can play punk or switch to techno. If people already know me, it’ll be brilliant. If people don’t know me yet, it’ll be brilliant. Music like trashy 90s trance, like on that CD with the dolphins on it, but faster, and I’ll try my hand at rapping too. Atzen: no, Gewerkschaftsbund: yes. Oi.”
Florian Illing, known as one half of the avant-garde band “Baumarkt”, has long been a household name beyond Chemnitz and is now based in Berlin. Now he’s bringing his dark, danceable electro-punk beats to the stage under his real name, slowly dredging up all those deep-seated memories. The upcoming album will be presented alongside Drohbriefian, Florian Illing’s intrusive voices in his head, with the album “BIER”.
Augenringemann has carved out a reputation in the Chemnitz underground with his dystopian raps. He soaks up your moods and makes hits cool again. He carries the grind on his back and frees you from pointless drudgery. But that’s not all: On his soon-to-be-released album “Döner 3,50€”, he clears up old injustices and creates new ones that serve his own ends. And you’ll go wild until he spits you out like you’ve been reborn after the show.
