(DE) AfroSax – African Kitchen, Culture & Community Exchange

(DE) Gemeinsam essen, Kultur erleben und Menschen verbinden.

AfroSax Empowerment Hub lädt zu einem interkulturellen Begegnungsabend in Chemnitz ein. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Vielfalt westafrikanischer Küche und die Frage, wie Essen, Musik und Geschichten Menschen miteinander verbinden können.

Mitglieder der afrikanischen Community bereiten verschiedene traditionelle Gerichte aus Westafrika zu und geben Einblicke in die Geschichten, Traditionen und persönlichen Bedeutungen dahinter. Besucher:innen können die Gerichte gegen eine freiwillige Spende probieren und dabei miteinander ins Gespräch kommen.

Begleitet wird der Abend von afrikanischer Musik, kulturellen Beiträgen, Spielen und verschiedenen Möglichkeiten zum Austausch. Ob bereits mit afrikanischer Kultur vertraut oder einfach neugierig – alle sind herzlich willkommen, gemeinsam zu essen, neue Menschen kennenzulernen und mehr über die vielfältigen Kulturen und Perspektiven Westafrikas zu erfahren.

Das Projekt schafft einen offenen Raum für Begegnung und macht die Vielfalt der afrikanischen Community in Chemnitz sichtbar.

AfroSax – African Kitchen, Culture & Community Exchange ist ein Projekt von AfroSax Empowerment Hub, in Kooperation mit dem LOKOMOV, und wird als Mikroprojekt der Kulturhauptstadt Europas Chemnitz 2025 gefördert.
