KURZFILMTAG is once again presenting a queer short film programme this year and we are delighted to be part of it and to be able to show it to you.
The protagonists of the “No Legend, No Story” programme leave the paths intended for them at very different stages of their lives to courageously go their own ways.
In A Summer Place, frustrated Tina receives a special kind of birthday surprise that takes her life in an unexpected direction. Yael from Waking up in Vegas, on the other hand, has to come to terms with his dominant brother without jeopardising his friendship with Aaron. Anemone resists the strict influence of her family and goes to great lengths to express her own awakening identity. The Saint of Dry Creek is an example of how parents sometimes know their children better than they know themselves. And the last film shows how Angelique from the Bavarian provinces writes her very own life story with a great deal of courage.
