A queer coming-of-age film set in the Brandenburg countryside: Markus is torn between his love for his grandmothers, who need his care, and his longing for a different life in Berlin. In his daydreams, he increasingly sees a host of dazzling demons as harbingers of a queer, urban chosen family that will free him from his loneliness. Then Duc comes into his life and everything becomes even more complicated.

The event is taking place in collaboration with the Cinémathèque Leipzig and is part of the series “QUEER AFTER 2025 – Chemnitz Remains Visible”, funded by the hms Foundation.
